ok, I'm back online now. This hiatus is a result of having moved house. Weird things that have happened since then, in no particular order...
- I got issued a regulation school tracksuit because the school sports day was coming up, and uniforms are mandatory.
- The solemn decision was made to break with protocol at school and turn on the air conditioners a full day earlier than officially permitted.
- My previous ISP phoned asking why I hadn't paid my final bill. It turned out that they had sent it to my previous address, despite my having given them a forwarding address. It also seems, bizarrely enough, that it is their official company policy not to send final bills to the ex-customer's new address. They finally relented when I pointed out that I had no intention of spending time or money to get my mail forwarded, and that they want the bill paid more than I do.
Sadly, because blogger.com managed to trash all my previous posts (as well as the template), my blogging activities are now on hold. I have an archive of the posts, but further blogging will have to wait until I get a reliable method for blogging which does not involve trusting a third party with my awesome and inspired (hah!) prose.
